Meet Josh & Stacy Tilford
Dancing Through Life: Building Community, Creativity, and Connection.

MEET STACY
Stacy began her dance journey at the age of three at Kelly’s School of Dance in Marietta under the tutelage of her instructor Gel Tracewell. She danced and performed with the school for over 12 years in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and modern. Classical Dance remained a passion of hers throughout high school and college and that love was found again in Ballroom Dancing in 2011. Over the last ten years, Stacy has trained in all styles of Ballroom including Rhythm, Latin, Smooth, and Standard.
MEET JOSH
Josh began his dance career as a student in a Columbus area dance studio in 2006. After a few classes, he was hooked and the owner invited him to train to become an instructor. A few months later and countless hours of dance practice, he earned that title and has never looked back. Since then, Josh has won numerous awards as a professional competitor as well as becoming a 5-time Top Teacher in the Global Dancesport Series and a 10-time Top 10 Teacher in the World Pro-Am Dancesport Series.
OUR JOURNEY TOGETHER
Josh and Stacy fell in love during their first meeting and first dance together on July 4th, 2014 and have been sharing their love for dance with each other every day since. Josh and Stacy began competing together shortly after their wedding in July of 2015 and have placed highly at every competition they have attended, most notably becoming the National Pro/Am Rising Star Smooth champions in 2017 and most recently taking 2nd in the World Pro/Am Open Smooth Championships in 2021.
